Why Mysore & Coorg packing is different
Mysore is warm, dry, and palace-heavy: wide courtyards, long walking distances, and a famous monsoon-season Dasara festival crowd. Coorg, just up in the Western Ghats, runs cooler, wetter, and greener thanks to coffee-estate altitude, with the June–September monsoon turning trails muddy and leech-prone. Moving between the two in one trip means packing for sun and heat in one town and damp, chilly forest mornings in the other.
